Autism Spectrum Colour Walks

A new event is also happening this year – the ‘Autism Spectrum Colour Walks’. There are two organised walks in the UK, one of which is in Sheffield’s own Endcliffe Park! It will be a chance to raise money for the National Autistic Society and to enjoy a colourful day out: https://www.autism.org.uk/get-involved/raise-money/world-autism-acceptance-week-2023/spectrum-colour-walks

World Autism Acceptance Week

World Autism Acceptance Week is approaching, starting on Monday 27th March. This is a great opportunity for your school community to celebrate, talk and learn about autism, as well to help fundraise. The Autism Education Trust and the National Autistic Society have teamed up to create a range of age-specific teaching resources on autism: https://www.autismeducationtrust.org.uk/your-guide-raising-peer-awareness-during-world-autism-acceptance-week
