Introduction to Dyspraxia/Developmental Co-ordination Disorder Delivered by Nicola Hutchings Consultant Teacher in SEND Date:               22^nd November 2022 Time:              9.00am-12.00pm Cost:               £45 per person Suitable for: Sencos, class teachers, teaching assistants in primary settings and relates to children from Foundation Stage to Key Stage 2. Do you support children who demonstrate difficulties in motor coordination? This may be seen in physical activities such as outdoor play or PE, in fine-motor tasks such as handwriting and self-care/organisation. This course will offer an understanding of what Dyspraxia/DCD is and how this affects a child’s cognitive, motor and social development.  It will describe the difficulties a child with dyspraxia may experience and consider practical strategies to support their difficulties.
