SEND review: right support, right place, right time
The Department for Education and Department for Health & Social Care have published a green paper about the changes they wish to make to the special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and alternative provision (AP) system in England.
The paper forms part of the government’s overall strategy to ‘level up’ opportunities for all pupils and provides an opportunity for schools (and parents) to deliver their views on proposals to ensure every child and young person with SEND and those in AP can thrive and be well prepared for adult life.
